Donnarai Says:

"Hello, Billy," Edward said with an overly-wide smile, his sharp teeth flashing in the dim light. "My name is Edward. Do you know what I am?"
Billy nodded, curling his fingers tightly into the sheet that covered him."

This Fic got Rec'd to me by none other the Lambie, and i must say its one of the best Recci's i have had!!

The authors 22blue and mac214 work so well together, they have created a Fic that is totally different to any other dark Fic i have read and that's what has drawn me in.

Its deals with a very dark Edward, who's sole purpose is to get revenge on those that have hurt him the most by taking away his one true love, he wont stop until they have truly suffered and are left broken and preferably dead!!
He walks away from everyone that loves him to start his deadly game, he has all the time in the world to stalk his pray.........and he is not afraid of letting them know, so they are in constant fear and are always on edge to the state of paranoia!!

Another thing I love about this is that you get to know a bit more about Charlie, Renee, Billy and Jacob, you will find that the 1st half of this Fic is about them and Edward! Unfortunately Bella doesn't appear until later on, but it all works out very well and is vital to the story.

I cannot seem to get enough of this Fic, and will be absolutely gutted when it comes to an end (may have to do a wee bit of stalking to get them to do another Darkward Fic) but for now I will enjoy what i can get!!

Bella’s bottom lip trembled and a few tears trickled down her cheeks from Jake’s harsh words. She planted herself under the shade of the tall tree that sat in the middle of the front lawn, plucking handfuls of grass and throwing it away from her.

"What’s wrong, little one? Did that mean Jake upset you?"

Bella nodded her head, her face in a deep pout. She wasn’t afraid of the man kneeling before her. She had seen him before. She remembered him from her dreams, and she liked the way his skin sparkled in the sun.

Edward gently placed his cold finger under her chin, lifting her head so he could look her in the eye. She tilted her head to the side and smiled brightly; there was still something familiar about the set of her eyes Edward couldn’t quite put his finger on. He heard Renee’s footsteps shuffling to the front door. Edward raised his index finger to his mouth and returned Bella’s smile.

"Sh," he whispered and jumped straight up into the tree.

This Fic is an M (NC-17 ) rating so if you are offended or unsure of the 1st chpt then i would suggest that you don't read on as it gets a hell of alot darker and when we say dark we mean DARK!!

Enjoy........

Lambcullen Says:

I was fic-diving again, and stumbled upon the summary for this. The first sentence intrigued me and by the end of the prologue I couldn't stop reading.

Edward is extreme in this one - psychologically speaking, and as the authors say themselves: He has no limits. When we say Darkward we really mean DARK. However, the thing that amazes me the most is that I understand what leads him to do each and every one of the acts he commits.
Love.
He starts off thoroughly content, but Edward's love is not Bella in this fic - at least not so far (we can always hope). He was married to Kate and happy, until Charlie and Billy bring his, along with Jasper's world crashing down around him. From that moment this vampire is driven by revenge...and so starting this wonderfully dark, twisted tale. There are parts that will astound you, but even at his cruellest there is still a sympathy for what he's lost.
He hits heights that have been visited by other Darkward's, but never done this well - with such chilling precision.
I always smile when the authors write the Psychometer reading at the top of each chapter. They also let you know if lollipops and Snuggies will be needed. So take note of these warnings, as they're not typing them for fun. They mean it! Especially the chapter with a solid 9 as the rating.

Before Renee could blink, Edward stood in front of her, practically vibrating with rage. There was a strange, juicy, crunching noise that sounded loudly inside of Renee's head, and then she crumpled to the ground holding her nose with blood rushing out between her fingers. The radiating pain caught up with her only moments later.
"Does that feel like a dream, Renee?" Edward snarled at her.
Renee sobbed on the ground, her fingers clutching at her face. She had never been struck before on purpose and had never so much as broken a toe. The pain drew her back to reality and the realization this was not a dream. Renee's fight or flight instinct took over; she was in no condition to fight, so she hobbled to her feet and ran as fast as her legs would move.
Edward rolled his eyes and waited, giving her a head start.

I don't want to give too much away, because you all really need to read it, but with the last chapter came a shift. It was a change in Edward that I'd never honestly expected, but I'm desperate to see exactly what's going to unfold.
These two authors gave us all a Darkward like no other, and I adore them for doing that.

Go. Read.

But don't forget your lollies and Snuggies.

  4. Loved this fiction! It has the darkest Edward I have seen so far. The story is very well-written, it's a pleasure to read it when you are in a mood for something dark and demented.

P.S: And I am thrilled to see a blog with Darkward recs! Thanks for creating it!
